Marking work on the iPad

Six months after our iPad distribution the project was already on its way to being a huge success through the eyes of pupils, teachers and most parents. However I still wanted to see if we could improve the way in which we use the iPads for teaching and learning.
Distribution of work to pupils had become increasingly easier, we were uploading work onto our Frog VLE learning platform and pupils from Year 2 upwards were independently downloading their digital tasks.

What about the finished work? How was it being marked?

Marking Work
The easiest way to mark pupils work on the iPad is orally with the pupil, as I teach a Year 3 class this is also the most beneficial way in which they can receive their feedback by:

Individual marking with the pupil
Marking in groups
Whole class marking with the use of the SMART board

The problem with this is there’s no red pen marks to show parents or an inspection team that the work has been marked.
